Client: Top Hat Home Services, a residential building management startup in the luxury space.
Challenge: develop a highly targeted direct mail campaign.
Revelation: Landmark Violations are a specific hardship within the demographic that Top Hat caters to—single family townhouse owners—and there is presently no other service provider addressing this issue.
Solution: I commissioned a data scientist to write a web scraping application that leveraged the department of buildings search function to find all of the residential buildings in Manhattan with Landmark Status and Open Violations. Design by Kristin Phillips.
